BACPR Travel Award - South Africa
Where the mountains meet the sea…Western Cape, South Africa is where you’ll find the Cape Winelands and a beautiful stretch of coastline with whales close to the shore, Table Mountain, Robben Island(where the late Nelson Mandela was incarcerated) and the Cape of Good Hope. Western Cape is also the home of the CardioVascular Disease Prevention and Recovery Programme(CVDPRP); an innovative cardiac rehabilitation programme designed to attract and benefit a very diverse population. BACPR Travel Awards and CVDPRP are delighted to offer a unique opportunity for one BACPR member to visit Western Cape and experience the programme (and its stunning setting), for themselves. BACPR Travel Award CVDPRP Visit The BACPR Travel Award will fund the airfare, accommodation (arranged by CVDPRP) and basic subsistence costs. Some of your own pocket money for the wealth of local attractions, scenery, wine farms, markets, fine dining and entertainment is also advised!The key activities within the anticipated 10-day BACPR Travel Award trip (Autumn 2016), will be:

How to apply Complete BOTH SIDES of the Application Form and email it to bacpr@bcs.com by Monday 29th February 2016. If you do not receive a confirmation of your application, please call BACPR Administration on 020 7380 1919 to ensure that has been received. Deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday 29th February 2016 The final decision will be made by a panel of the BACPR Executive Coordinating Group and will be based on what the applicant can offer to the CVDPRP and how they will use the experience to benefit cardiac rehabilitation at home. All applicants will be notified of the result within two weeks of the deadline.
